Dragon salad from herring

Original recipe for lovers of the special! Simple, and appetizing! Delicious salad with an original appearance. Very tasty Dragon salad 2012 in an unusual New Year's presentation. "Dragons" on their birthday, too.

Thinly slice the peeled onion. Pour it with boiling water for a minute, drain the water and pour the onion with marinade (water and vinegar in the proportion of 1:1) for 15 minutes. Drain the marinade.



Gut the herring, cut into fillets, finely chop.
Place the herring in an arc on a large dish (this will be the base of the dragon).

On top - a layer of pickled onions.



After - peeled boiled potatoes grated on a fine grater.

Make a "mouth" from two slices of sweet pepper as in the photo. Cover with potatoes.



Grease with mayonnaise.

Drain the liquid from the olives, grind them in a blender and put the top layer.



Put in the cold overnight for soaking.
Decorate .
