Cooking method
For the first time I tried such sweet food as pakhvala on vacation on the Black Sea. Of course, when I arrived home, I decided to try to cook this dish on my own and now I do it all the time. And now I will tell you about this culinary recipe. Take flour, add salt, sugar, soda and egg, mix everything. We begin the preparation of baklava by adding salt, granulated sugar, soda and egg to the sifted flour, knead well. Now we heat up the milk and pour it into our flour. We knead an elastic, homogeneous dough from this mass. Now we keep it for about an hour and a half in a warm place. After this time, we roll out our dough into 5-6 layers with a thickness of 0.5 centimeters. Now we put our layer on a pre-oiled baking sheet, sprinkle it with granulated sugar, ground nuts and cover it with a second layer, which we oil. Thus, we make several layers. Cut the baklava into lozenges 10 by 4 cm, and lubricate with egg yolk mixed with saffron. Now we put the pakhvalu to cook in a preheated 200 degree oven for about 40 minutes.
