Step 1:
To prepare a delicious, fragrant, vitamin tea from sea buckthorn, prepare all the necessary ingredients. Sea buckthorn berries do not need to be defrosted. But the water must be brought to a boil.
Step 2:
Put sea buckthorn berries in a small mug, pour hot water, rinse them a little and drain all the water immediately.
Step 3:
Then fill the berries with hot water again and leave to stand for 1-2 minutes. During this time, they will completely unfreeze and begin to give their nutrients into the water. To make the tea taste the brightest, mash the berries with a spoon or a pusher so that they let the juice.
Step 4:
Put the berry mass into a tea brewing bowl. A French press, an ordinary jar or a teapot made of glass or ceramics is suitable for this.
Step 5:
Pour boiling water and cover with a lid. Leave to stand for 5-7 minutes to infuse the tea. The longer the tea is infused, the more fragrant the finished drink will be. If desired, at this moment you can add a brew of black or green tea. Or supplement the drink with lemon zest, mint, ginger or spices.
Step 6:
Strain the finished tea and pour it into the prepared mugs. Add a little honey or sugar to the mug according to your taste. Have a nice tea party!
