Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Choose the ingredients and spices necessary for making buns. We heat 300 ml of milk to 30-40 degrees and wash the raisins, which we then dry and put on a plate.
Step 2:
Pour two teaspoons of dry yeast into a container with milk, add two tablespoons of sugar, two tablespoons of flour, stir until smooth and put it in a warm oven for fifteen minutes.
Step 3:
Break one chicken egg into a large bowl, add four tablespoons of sugar, one teaspoon of vanilla sugar, a little more than half a teaspoon of turmeric, a pinch of salt and mix.
Step 4:
Add fifty grams of softened butter and stir all the ingredients until a homogeneous base.
Step 5:
Add activated yeast to the prepared base.
Step 6:
Mix all the ingredients well together.
Step 7:
Add five hundred grams of flour sifted through a sieve to a large bowl and mix all the ingredients well so that the dry and wet parts of the dough are well combined.
Step 8:
Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel and remove it to rise in a warm oven.
Step 9:
Prepare the filling for buns and break one chicken egg into a bowl with fresh cottage cheese, pour out three tablespoons of sugar, and add one teaspoon of vanilla sugar.
Step 10:
Add one hundred grams of raisins to the bowl, mix the resulting filling well and let it brew a little.
Step 11:
Sprinkle the table with flour and spread the dough that has risen well in one hour and ten minutes on it from a bowl.
Step 12:
The dough needs to be kneaded well with your hands so that it is dense and holds the filling.
Step 13:
The result is a very elastic dough.
Step 14:
On a floured table, we begin to cook buns. We separate the required amount of dough for each, roll it out with a rolling pin to an oval-shaped cake. We make incisions with a knife on one side of the tortilla, and on the other side we spread the filling.
Step 15:
We wrap the tortilla with an envelope and stuffing inside, form our bun, and then connect the dough from the reverse side. We put the buns in a baking tray, which we cover with baking paper before that and put it in a warm place for forty minutes.
Step 16:
Grease the top of each bun with warm milk and put it to bake in a preheated oven to one hundred and seventy degrees for twenty minutes, after which we let them stand for another five minutes with the oven turned off.
Step 17:
Taking the buns out of the oven, grease each with butter, let them cool and infuse.
Step 18:
We spread the cooled buns on a platter and serve them to the table. Have a good tea party for everyone!
