Applesauce for winter for children

Take care of the children - prepare a vitamin treat for the winter! I am already a mother three times, so I know for sure how invaluable the benefits of homemade fruit preparations for children are. I was satisfied with the purchased ones when I became a mother for the first time, because there is something to compare with. Undoubtedly, home-made complementary foods made from high-quality products are much more useful than those that flaunt on supermarket shelves. Try it - cooking is not difficult at all!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 30 min

We sort out the apples so that there are no broken or rotten ones. Fruits should be perfect and ripe.

I wash the sorted apples, peel them from the skin, cut into slices without affecting the core.

We put the apple slices in a small saucepan, add water, send it to a small fire. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Then we chop the apples with an immersion blender and, since we prepare the dish for the smallest household, we grind the puree through a sieve to exclude the remaining pieces.

Return the puree to the saucepan and cook for another 15 minutes (on low heat).

Sterilize the jars over steam or in the oven, fill them with hot puree and roll up with sterile lids.

We turn the cans upside down, insulate them with a terry towel and leave them until they cool down completely, after which we put them away for permanent storage in the cellar or basement (my friend has it perfectly stored in the pantry).

Health to your children and good appetite!
