Step-by-step cooking
Let's start with poppy mince. Rinse it in hot water, pour boiling water and leave for half an hour. We pour the water through a sieve, cool the poppy and pass it through a meat grinder twice. Mix the poppy with sugar – the poppy filling is ready.
We prepare yeast dough from flour, warm milk, granulated sugar, eggs and butter, add the diluted yeast and set it for the approach for 3 hours. Do not forget that all the ingredients are added to the milk and kneaded. During the ascent, we knead the dough twice, release excess air. The finished elastic dough is rolled out in a 1 cm thick layer, spread the poppy minced meat on it and roll up the tube. Grease the baking sheet with oil and leave the roll to melt for 40 minutes in the heat. The roll is smeared with beaten egg to obtain a glossy, beautiful surface and baked on fire at 200 degrees for about 50 minutes.
The chilled roll is cut into portions. Very good with milk or tea.
