Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 5 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

For a cocktail "B-52" take a 50 ml shot. or any high smooth glass. The total volume of the drink, traditionally, does not exceed 60 ml., so that it is convenient to drink it in one sip. Exact proportions for layered cocktails, as a rule, are not given. Since everyone has different shots, and the layers should be the same height. All liqueurs must be pre-cooled. Pour the first layer of coffee liqueur "Kalua".

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

The next layer is cream liqueur "Baileys". It does not mix well with coffee liqueur, but still, for reliability, I add "Baileys" so. I take an ordinary teaspoon (bartenders do it with a special bar spoon), turn it upside down right in the glass, and slowly pour the liquor on the spoon.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

The layer falls evenly due to the fact that the liquor flows smoothly, and does not flow in a sharp trickle. And it does not mix with the previous layer, due to the different density of liqueurs.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Wash the spoon and wipe it dry. You can just take a new one. It's time for "Cointreau". In exactly the same way, spoon, carefully and very slowly pour the orange liqueur into the shot.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

The last layer "B-52" is the most difficult, since "Baileys" and "Cointreau" mix well with each other. The first time is unlikely to get an even layer, but with each approach it will get better and better! Provided that you don't drink yourself :) Then the cocktail is set on fire. This is usually done with a match so as not to get burned, but I have seen that bartenders use a lighter as well. Only, please, no injuries! The cocktail is served with an iron tube. They are consumed immediately.

"B-52" is drunk like this. As soon as the bartender has set the top layer on fire, be sure to drain the shot to the bottom in one gulp through an iron tube while the fire is still burning.
You have about 30 seconds to take a selfie against the background of a cocktail with fire :) But it is already dangerous to delay any longer. So it's not far to the burst shot ...
Don't be afraid to get burned by this cocktail, for a short time of burning it does not have time to heat up to any dangerous temperatures. gorenje
But it's still a little scary to try your very first burning B-52! It's good that it passes quickly ;)
"B-52" combines three sweet flavors and three different temperatures at once: cool coffee, warm cream and hot orange. And yes, it's delicious!
The fortress of Shota is relatively small. It fluctuates around 25 degrees, but due to the ignition and layering, it seems that the cocktail is much stronger.
There are a lot of versions about the origin of the name "B-52". Personally, the version with the name of the cocktail in honor of the American Boeing B-52 Stratofortress bomber seems to me the most romantic.
The cocktail named after the fighter is one of the most popular among club party-goers. And all because literally a couple of such shots, and the fun begins!
It is not superfluous to remind here that excessive alcohol consumption negatively affects your health and the health of others.
Have a pleasant tasting!
