It was in those distant times that most liqueurs took shape, taking on the names of religious orders.

The second most popular liqueur is also an Irish one,
Sheridan's Liqueur
(or Sheridan's). Sheridan's is made on a whiskey base and is two-toned. It's bottled in special bottles with two compartments. One holds a vanilla-cream liqueur, the other a coffee-chocolate liqueur. When poured, the two liqueurs layer up in the glass.
Third place on the liqueur popularity list goes to
Malibu
. Then again, Malibu is less a liqueur than a rum containing natural coconut palm extract.
