    How to make a tincture of moonshine with lemon? Prepare the products. according to the list. Wash one large lemon and dry it with a paper towel. Remove the zest from the lemon. Try not to touch the white part, which is under the zest, because it happens that it is very bitter and can easily spoil the whole drink.

    Next, squeeze the juice out of the lemon. It's convenient for me to do it this way: I cut the sour fruit exactly in half. And with my fingers I go through each slice inside the halves, squeezing out the juice. So two quite decently pressed crusts are obtained. But, of course, it will be faster to use a citrus juicer.

    Now pass the juice through a strainer to get rid of unnecessary pulp and bones. By the way, they can also be bitter, as well as the white part under the zest.

    Pour the right amount of moonshine into the lemon juice with zest and sugar. Mix it up. Infuse the drink for two days. Then strain the tincture through a gauze filter and store in the refrigerator.

It is advised to remove the lemon peel with a vegetable peeler or a special tool for preparing the peel. I didn't have a special tool, and the vegetable peeler couldn't cope with the task.
But the usual sharp knife worked perfectly. The main thing is to make sure that the zest is yellow, without islands of the white bitter part of the lemon.
If you want a sweeter, ladies' tincture, then increase the amount of sugar by 1 tsp .
But, as for me, it is with the amount of sugar that is indicated in the recipe that the tincture acquires its unsurpassed refreshing qualities and becomes as similar as possible to Italian limoncello.
I advise you to serve this lemon tincture chilled with a slice of lemon.
This time we tried to add a little salt. The way they usually drink tequila.
Pour a pinch of salt on your hand, lick off the salt, then immediately take a shot of a cold tincture and then snack on lemon.
