Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients for the filling. For a classic liqueur, only three components are required: cherry, alcohol and sugar. In some recipes of liqueurs, spicy herbs and fruits are used. First, we will determine the difference between the liqueur and the tincture according to the composition and method of preparation. The liqueur, unlike the tincture, is prepared for a very long time: six months-a year, and the tincture - a month.
Step 2:
The liqueur contains - 40% sugar, and the tincture-2-3%. The liqueur is not so strong, it contains no more than 20% alcohol, and the tincture is up to 40%. The alcohol infusion is prepared quite simply, the only thing is that it takes a lot of time to extract it. Let's start with the berries. The cherry should be well ripe. I wash the berries under running water. We remove twigs, garbage, rotten berries also need to be thrown out. Soak the cherries for a couple of hours in cold water to eliminate worminess in the berries.
Step 3:
The prepared cherry is placed in a glass container, covered with sugar and left for a day. During this time, the sugar will dissolve, and the cherry will let the juice.
Step 4:
Fill the contents of the cans with alcohol, close the lids and leave in a dark place for 3 months. During this time, you can check the condition of the liqueur several times by stirring the berries. Drain the liquid, remove the berries, they can be used for baking or any desserts for adults.
Step 5:
We filter the liqueur through gauze to exclude the possibility of getting the remnants of cherry pulp into the liqueur. Pour the liqueur into glass bottles and seal with corks. We put it for storage in a dark, cool place. Ideally, let the liqueur stand for about 3 more months, but it can be served to the table before this period. Especially such a drink will appeal to women, sweet with a pleasant tart cherry flavor and aroma will not leave them indifferent.
Step 6:
