No-Bake Banana, Cookie, and Condensed Milk Cake

No-bake banana, cookie, and condensed milk cake: simple and delicious! This no-bake banana-cookie-condensed-milk cake is a wonderful quick dessert that your kids will love, especially if you get them involved in making it. For this cake, it's important to use crumbly cookies like "Baked Milk." For faster soaking of the layers, use warm milk. Banana adds softness and goodness to your cream, and condensed milk isn't out of place when it comes to getting some calcium - so treat yourself and your family to a cake that's not too much trouble and not too unhealthy.

Cooking method

  1. Step 1:

    Step 1

Gather the ingredients on the list. Use a ripe, soft banana. That lets the cream turn out smooth and soft.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2

Make the cream first. The butter should be at room temperature. If yours is from the fridge, like mine, cut it into small cubes and it'll soften quickly. Use good butter, at least 82.5% fat.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3

Rinse the banana under the tap and peel it. Cut the peeled banana into small pieces and add it to the butter.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4

Add half a can of condensed milk to the prepared ingredients. If you like, you can use dulce de leche, but check the ingredients carefully - good-quality condensed milk is hard to find these days. That's why I prefer to use a trusted brand and cook it down myself if needed. There's no need for that here, so we'll use regular condensed milk.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5

Mash the mixture of butter, banana, and condensed milk well with a fork. If you like, you can use an immersion blender for a more even consistency.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6

Dip the crumbly cookies in warm milk and lay them out in a layer.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7

Cover the cookies well with a layer of cream. Alternate the layers until you run out of cookies.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8

For the top coating of the cake, add cocoa powder to the cream and mix it well.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9

Cover the top of the cake with the brown cream and put it in the fridge for at least half an hour to soak.

  • No-bake banana, cookie, and condensed milk cake is a simple, quick dessert. It takes much less time to make than to soak, though it doesn't soak for long either. It all depends on which cookies you choose.
