Cooking method
To cook a very tasty porridge with meat in a pot in a pearl oven, we will need almost two hours of time. Before laying pearl barley and meat in a pot, they need to be prepared.
Rinse the pearl barley, pour two glasses of water in a saucepan and put it on fire. As soon as it boils, make a small fire and cook until the water evaporates completely, 15-20 minutes, do not cover with a lid.
Meanwhile, rinse and dry the meat, cut it into small pieces and start frying with the addition of vegetable oil over high heat.
While the meat is frying, cut the peeled carrots and onions into small cubes. Add the vegetables to the meat after 10 minutes of frying, when it starts to brown, sprinkle with salt and spices, mix.
Fry pork with onions and carrots for another 5 minutes, slightly reducing the heat to medium.
Put the meat fried with onions and carrots in the pot first. Put boiled pearl barley on top of the meat.
Dilute a tablespoon of tomato paste in three glasses of water and pour porridge with meat in a pot.
Cover the pot with a lid, put it in the oven and cook at 200 degrees for an hour.
After an hour, remove the pot of porridge from the oven, mix the porridge with meat, cover again, and return to the oven for another 20 minutes.
Serve pearl porridge with meat on the table in a pot hot, immediately from the oven, then arrange the portions on plates.
