In a large saucepan, bring 1 cup of water and sugar to a boil. Remove the resulting syrup from the heat.

Dissolve potato starch in 1/2 cup of cold water and stir with syrup. Put it back on the stove and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add the pre-mashed strawberries and mix well.

Spread out in portions in creamers or place in a large bowl, which is pre-doused with cold water. Place the finished jelly in the refrigerator for about 3 hours. Serve with whipped cream or just like that.
