Creamy White Pizza Sauce

A delicate, incredibly tasty sauce for your favorite pizza. This creamy pizza sauce makes enough for 4 pizzas, and it's also great with meat dishes. Leave out the garlic and pepper and add sugar instead, and you can turn it into a sweet sauce for desserts.

  • Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Add the chopped garlic and cook it until fragrant, then fish the garlic out of the butter. Stir the flour into the butter and cook, stirring constantly, until smooth. Pour in the cream, stirring the whole time so it stays lump-free. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Brush this creamy sauce over your pizza base before adding the toppings — especially nice if you're not a fan of tomato sauce.
