Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 2 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make a Prince salad with beef and walnuts? Prepare the necessary products. Take a less fibrous part of the beef so that the meat in the salad is not tough, and not too greasy. I took the veal. Fillet or tenderloin will do. Cucumbers can also be used salted.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

In boiling salted water, boil the beef until tender. The cooking time will depend on the properties of the meat. Young beef will cook faster. Tougher meat will cook longer.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Chop the walnuts with a knife not very finely.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Peel and wash the garlic. Chop the garlic on a fine grater or pass it through a press. If you want a more savory salad taste, increase the amount of garlic to two cloves.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Remove the meat from the broth, cool. Cut the meat into small cubes. You can cut the meat into strips, but keep in mind that in this case the form of cutting the rest of the ingredients should be the same. So the salad will look more beautiful.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Similarly cut cucumbers into small cubes.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Hard-boil the eggs at a moderate boil for 7 minutes. Pour boiled eggs with cold water, leave to cool. Peel the eggs from the shell, cut into small cubes.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Place a serving ring on a plate of a suitable size (I have d = 16 cm). Spread half of the prepared beef evenly.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

    Apply mayonnaise on top.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Then lay out half of the sliced cucumbers. Spread half of the grated garlic on top.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

    Apply mayonnaise again.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

Lay out half of the chopped eggs. And again the mayonnaise mesh.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

With the remaining ingredients, repeat all the layers in the same sequence (meat-cucumbers + garlic-eggs).

  14. Step 14:

    Step 14.

Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top of the salad. Put the salad in the refrigerator for half an hour to soak and cool a little.

  15. Step 15:

    Step 15.

Remove the serving ring. Before serving, you can decorate the salad as desired. Bon appetit!

Lots of meat, light piquancy, serious, strict taste – the dream of male gourmets. They will be delighted! Prepare and see for yourself!

The salad will look nice and neat if you cut all the ingredients into pieces of the same size and shape (for example, cubes).

It is better to prepare mayonnaise yourself. It will be tastier and healthier. See the interesting ones here recipes for homemade mayonnaise.
Also, as a dressing, you can use not only mayonnaise, but also sour cream or natural yogurt. They can be taken separately or mixed with mayonnaise in any proportion to your taste - this will reduce the calorie content of the dish.
