Cherry Jelly Jam

A delicious treat for sweet tooths young and old :) How nice it is to pull a ready-made jelly out of the refrigerator anytime you like :)

Cooking method

    Rinse the cherries well and put them in a deep bowl or pot. Add the water and sugar, bring to a boil, and cook for 5 minutes.

    Dissolve the gelatin in 2 tablespoons of water and let it bloom, then stir it into the jam. From here, work fast. Set it over low heat and stir so the gelatin dissolves, but don't let it boil! The moment it shows signs of bubbling, take it off the heat right away and pour it into sterilized jars.

    Skim off all the foam so the jelly doesn't spoil in storage.

    Seal with sterilized lids. Once it cools, the jelly is set. Store it somewhere cool—ideally in the refrigerator.
