Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 10 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the salad preparation products. Chicken fillet should be boiled and cooled in advance. For a salad, you can take baked chicken meat, smoked chicken breast or boiled. Pickled champignons I take chopped. The cheese is hard. We will fill the salad with mayonnaise, but it can be divided in half with sour cream. Prepare a deep salad bowl.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Cut the chilled chicken fillet into small cubes. Put it in a salad bowl.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Open the jar with pickled mushrooms, drain the liquid and add to the salad to the chicken. I use store-bought mushrooms, but, of course, it would be better to use homemade mushrooms pickled by themselves.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

It is better to take a strong tomato that is not overripe, so that when slicing it retains its shape. Wash the tomato, dry it and cut into cubes. Add the chopped tomato to the salad bowl.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Grate the selected hard cheese on a coarse grater and add to the salad. It should be noted here that the saltier the cheese is, the less salt will need to be added to the salad.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Peel the garlic cloves and pass them through the press. Add chopped garlic, mayonnaise to the salad, mix and taste for salt, add if necessary.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Salad can be served immediately. It will look good both in a large salad bowl, decorated with fresh herbs, and in portion creams. You can also serve this salad using a serving ring.

There are a lot of salads now, with a variety of ingredients and combinations. It seems that you can still come up with and combine. But in fact, there are much more solutions. Salad "Alex" for me seemed very strange in name, apparently someone named it after someone, there are suggestions that the author is a man and gave the salad his name. But you can express gratitude to him, as the salad turns out to be light, tasty, harmonious and juicy. And the fact that the ingredients are available and simple makes it more attractive. Therefore, I recommend preparing such a salad just for yourself, and then you can offer it to your guests.
