Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h

Pour three liters of water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. And while it boils, wash the apples and cut them into thin slices. It is better not to remove the peel from the apples, otherwise the apple slices will "fall apart" during cooking. In boiling water, lower the sliced apple slices. Immediately add to the apples and pre-washed cherries (it is better to remove the pits). Cook fruits and berries on medium heat for 15 minutes, this is enough to make compote, and the apples will not have time to "fall apart". Before removing the pan from the heat, add a little sugar, stir so that the sugar dissolves. Pour into jars for subsequent rolling for the winter.
