Step 1:
How to make pita bread with crab sticks, egg and mayonnaise? A very simple and quick snack. First, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Take a long pita bread, preferably with one sheet. Eggs need large selected ones. If the eggs are small, take 3-4 pieces. It is better to take the pita bread out of the package after preparing all the ingredients, just before forming the roll. Because pita bread in an open form dries very quickly, cracks and breaks.
Step 2:
Grate crab sticks on a coarse grater. To make it easier to rub the crab sticks, first put them in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Step 3:
Hard-boil eggs, cool and peel. Then grate them on a fine grater. If desired, you can increase the number of eggs - the snack will only benefit from this.
Step 4:
Wash the parsley, dry it and chop it finely. In addition to parsley, you can take other herbs - dill, cilantro, green onions or a mixture of different herbs.
Step 5:
Spread the pita bread sheet on the desktop and spread it evenly with mayonnaise. I put the mayonnaise in a pastry bag and cut off the tip. This is more convenient than using a spoon, especially when you have to water a layer of crab sticks. For a sharper taste, you can add 1-2 cloves of garlic passed through the press to the mayonnaise.
Step 6:
Spread the grated crab sticks evenly on top of the whole sheet. Pour the remaining mayonnaise from the pastry bag over them.
Step 7:
Sprinkle the crab sticks evenly with grated egg and chopped herbs on top. If desired, you can supplement the filling with grated cheese, other fresh or boiled vegetables.
Step 8:
Roll the pita bread into a tight roll.
Step 9:
Wrap with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator for impregnation for 30 minutes.
Step 10:
Cut the finished roll into slices and serve it to the table, garnished with herbs. It is advisable to consume the snack immediately or during the shelf life of the lavash. Bon appetit!
