Cooking method
At the time of cooking, our plums should be pitted. If you haven't cleaned them up yet, do it. After that, you need to sprinkle them with two kilograms of sugar, in a large container, and stir well.
We put the container on a very weak flame. We monitor the condition of the drains. Soon they will begin to ooze juice. Stir this juice during the cooking process. We pour crushed walnuts into the container. We do not stop stirring. After about 8 or 10 minutes, the liquid boils. This may happen a little later. When it starts, we pour cocoa to it. We wait for boiling again. Stir, and after 40 minutes we throw butter into the container.
From this moment, cooking lasts 20 minutes, and the last minutes will be the final ones. Still hot, we pour the jam-like mixture into jars, which we tighten tightly with lids.
