    Sort the dried apples, rinse and put them in a saucepan or bowl. Boil 1.5 liters of water, pour dried apples with boiling water. Cover the bowl or pan with a lid and leave for 4 hours.

    After infusion, strain the apple broth through cheesecloth or a fine sieve. Squeeze half a lime into the strained broth. You can replace it with half a lemon.

    Add honey and stir well. I advise you to add honey to a warm uzvar. If you add it to a hot one, it will lose all its useful and healing properties.

    Healthy and delicious drink is ready. In winter and during colds, it is better to use it warmed up, in summer you can cool it in the refrigerator and drink it as a refreshing drink.

Brews - hot infusions of dried fruits and berries. They have been replacing tea in Russia for a long time. The most common brews were apple (from dried, fresh and even soaked apples), cranberry, lingonberry.
An important feature of broths is that they are prepared without sugar, sweetened only with liquid honey (candied will also be useful, only it will dissolve longer). Honey is added to a warm, but not hot brew, so that it retains all its medicinal and beneficial properties. Mint and other fragrant herbs are often added to them.
According to its benefits and vitamin composition, the brews leave ordinary tea far behind. Unfortunately, they were undeservedly forgotten.
For brews, I use my products from the cottage as a basis: dried apples, prunes, sea buckthorn, - or frozen (black currant, sea buckthorn, cranberries, lingonberries). My husband once bought me an excellent assistant - a very spacious dryer "Breeze-2" (I highly recommend it, we have been using it for several years), so now every winter we are with our products. Their own products are much more useful than purchased ones, the same apples that are processed with something unclear. But sometimes, of course, you have to buy some ingredients that do not grow in our climate.
This version of the brew is more modern, since it contains lime (lemon) in its composition.
