Deviled Eggs with Krill Meat

The perfect appetizer for special occasions and everyday meals! For deviled eggs with krill meat, it's best to use farm-fresh eggs or buy them from a source you trust. Only large eggs work well here — small ones won't look as impressive. The shrimp in this recipe are already cooked. Pick whatever cheese you like. You need just a touch of garlic, so use a small clove, or cut a regular clove in half.

  • Wondering what appetizer to bring to the party table? You want something tasty and, at the same time, new. The world of cooking is full of all sorts of treats, fresh ideas, and new dishes. As everyone knows, appetizers are dishes served before the main courses or meant for a light meal on their own, and they're traditionally served alongside drinks. Appetizers can be cold or hot, and they're made mostly from vegetables, fruit, mushrooms, meat, and fish. This recipe offers a cold appetizer of eggs with krill meat — a fresh take on the classic deviled egg. 1. Hard-boil the eggs: put them in a small saucepan, cover with water, and set over the heat. Cook for 7 minutes from the moment they boil. 2. When the time's up, transfer the eggs to another container and cover with cold water so they cool faster. Then peel them and cut them in half. 3. Carefully scoop out the yolks, put them in a bowl, and mash with a fork. Add the krill meat. 4. Peel the garlic and press it. Add it to the yolks and krill. 5. Grate the hard cheese on the coarse side of a grater and add it after the garlic. 6. Cut the cooked, peeled shrimp into a few pieces and add them to the rest. 7. Now dress the filling with mayonnaise, mix thoroughly, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Fill the egg halves with the mixture. 8. Arrange the eggs on a platter and dust with paprika. 9. Wash and chop the green onion, and scatter it over the top to garnish. There you go — beautiful and, best of all, delicious! Help yourself!
