  • With Margelan radish, plus tomatoes, sweet bell pepper, and walnuts, you can make an excellent vitamin-rich salad. Wash all the vegetables, peel the Margelan radish the way you'd peel a potato, and grate it on a coarse grater. Drizzle the grated radish with freshly squeezed lemon juice and mix. Then prepare the rest of the ingredients. Shell the nuts and break the kernels into pieces, but not too small. Cut the tomatoes into large cubes and the seeded bell pepper into squares. Combine the prepared ingredients in a deep bowl, sprinkle with salt, and dress with sunflower oil. It's best to use a fragrant, unrefined oil for this salad. Toss the salad, transfer it to a salad bowl, and serve right away. This salad goes with any side dish, and it can also be served with meat.
