Plum Vodka Infusion

Make a delicious plum liqueur yourself! It's easy! There's something very satisfying about pulling out a homemade plum infusion from your stash and setting it on the table for guests. Especially since it comes out wonderfully tasty and aromatic. All that's left is to soak up the praise from guests and family ;) This amount of ingredients makes about 1 liter of the drink.

    1. Wash the plums and cut them in half. Remove the pits. 2. Layer the plum halves in a jar, sprinkling each layer with sugar. 3. Close the jar and put it in a cool place for 3 days. During this time the plums will release quite a lot of juice. Once a day, shake the jar of plums well. 4. Pour the vodka into the jar. The vodka should sit 2.5 cm above the plums. 5. Close the jar with a lid again and put it in a dark place for 35 days. 6. Filter the infused liquid through a thick layer of cheesecloth. 7. Pour the clear liquid into bottles and seal them tightly. Store the finished infusion in a dark place, or you can serve it right away. By the way, the infusion made by this recipe keeps for a long time — about two years. Happy holidays!
