Cooking method
1. We wash the grits a couple of times (until clean water).
2. We put the grits in the bowl of the slow cooker, add salt and sugar.
3. Pour in the milk.
4. Select the program "Baking" and set the time - 10 minutes. During this time, the corn groats will have time to steam a little.
5. After the beep, we switch the "Cereal" (or "Porridge") mode and cook according to the time set by the manufacturer by default (this is an average of 60 minutes).
6. The finished porridge should be spread hot on plates and served on the table, since after standing in a saucepan for some time, the porridge will thicken and turn into one big lump, which will cause it to lose its appetizing appearance.
Bon appetit!
