Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a salad of broccoli and pickled cheese? Prepare all the necessary products that are specified in the recipe. Garlic, if desired, can be excluded or a minimum amount of it can be used. Olive oil or refined vegetable oil is suitable.
Step 2:
Rinse the broccoli and disassemble it into small inflorescences of the same size. Peel the garlic from the husk.
Step 3:
Boil water in a small saucepan or saucepan. Put the cabbage in boiling water and leave for 30-60 seconds. If you have very small inflorescences, then 30 seconds will be quite enough. Do not overdo broccoli in water, otherwise it will become soft. Put the pieces in a colander and drain.
Step 4:
Send the inflorescences to a deep small container and cool slightly. Drain the brine from the cheese. Break the cheese into small pieces with your hands, or cut into small cubes with a knife. Send it to the cabbage.
Step 5:
Pass the garlic through the press and add it to the salad bowl. Also add a pinch of ground black or allspice and pour oil. At this stage, you can add your favorite seasonings and spices, such as dried basil, oregano, ground paprika, and so on.
Step 6:
Mix everything thoroughly and taste for salt. If necessary, add salt (I usually don't do this, because brine cheese is salty enough by itself).
Step 7:
If desired, sprinkle the salad with finely chopped herbs and serve.
The benefits of broccoli are known to many. It is rich in vitamins K, C, vitamin B group, contains phosphorus, potassium, fiber, iron and much more.

If you use ready-made spice mixes, be sure to read the composition on the package. Often, salt is already present in such mixtures, take this into account, otherwise you risk over-salting the dish.
