The rice used in the recipe is sweet (or as it is also called - "sticky") - this is one of the Asian varieties with a rich taste and high density. Glutinous rice is mainly used for dessert dishes, and its main advantage is the absence of gluten, which makes it an ideal ingredient for dietary dishes.

The first stage of cooking sweet rice with raisins is the preparation of products:

1. Rinse the rice thoroughly and boil until tender (about twenty minutes).
2. While the rice is cooking, you need to wash the raisins and pour it with hot water so that it swells. Put the swollen raisins on a paper napkin and dry.

The second stage of cooking is rice dressing:

3. Put spices, butter and sugar in the hot cooked rice (you can replace it with honey or a sugar substitute). Mix the porridge gently.
4. Put the prepared raisins in the seasoned rice and mix again.

The final stage is serving:

5. You need to serve sweet rice with raisins beautifully. To do this, you can use a salad bowl (ring), or you can take a simple cup. In both cases, the walls are lubricated with butter, and the porridge is well tamped and placed in the center of the plate.

Bon appetit!
