Cooking method
Butter is quite "slimy" mushrooms, so you will need to pay due attention to the preparatory process.
So, we prepare mushrooms:
1. Rinse the oil well and clean them thoroughly.
2. Rinse the butter a few more times and soak them in very cold water with salt for 10-15 minutes.
3. Boil the mushrooms in salted water (after boiling for 5-10 minutes).
4. Drain the oil from the water and rinse them in a colander under running water.
5. Let the excess water drain.
While the water is draining from the mushrooms, you can start the main part of cooking:
1. Peel and cut the onion into small cubes, and then fry it until transparent in vegetable oil.
2. Cut the boiled butter into small pieces.
3. Add the mushrooms to the pan and fry until the liquid has completely evaporated.
4. Add salt to taste.
Serving, storage, use:
- the finished dish can be immediately served on the table in its pure form or, if desired, seasoned with herbs / garlic;
- for storage, put the caviar in a glass container and put it in the refrigerator (the shelf life is several days);
- for long-term storage, put hot caviar in sterile jars and sterilize (15 minutes after boiling water will be enough).
Use caviar for making sandwiches, as a filling for pies, pancakes, as a snack.
