Clear Pitted Plum Wedge Jam
Make a fragrant plum jam — beautiful and delicious! I love this plum jam recipe because the syrup comes out clear and the plum wedges don't fall apart — they stay whole and firm, like little gummy candies. If you like, you can add cinnamon or vanilla for an even more refined, elegant flavor. Highly recommended!

- Sort and wash the plums, cut them in half and remove the pits, then cut each half into wedges. Transfer the plums to an enameled pot. 2. Combine the water and sugar, set over the heat, and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until all the sugar crystals dissolve. Pour this thick syrup over the cut plums and let stand for several hours. 3. Now set the pot of plums over the heat, bring the jam-to-be to a boil, and cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Then leave the contents of the pot to rest for 8 hours. 4. Repeat step 3 three more times. After the final cooking, ladle the jam into sterilized jars and seal with lids. Let the jam cool in a warm spot, then store it somewhere cold. Enjoy!
