Cooking method

  1. Step 1:

    Step 1

Chop the onion and pour boiling water over it for 7-10 minutes to take out the bitterness. Drain and rinse with cold water.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2

Beat three eggs one at a time, each with a pinch of salt. After beating each one, pour it onto a hot oiled skillet and fry it into a thin egg crepe. Fry on both sides, but very quickly (don't let it brown!) — if overcooked, the crepes turn bitter. Set them on 3 separate plates to dry out a little.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3

Boil the chicken breast, let it cool, and chop it finely.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4

Cut the egg crepes into thin strips and add them to the chicken.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5

Add the fresh cucumber, also cut into thin strips, along with the onion. Toss everything together, season with salt and pepper to taste, and dress with the mayonnaise.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6

Now for the presentation. We'll serve the salad in striking cups made from bell peppers. Starting at the blossom (bottom) end, make several crosswise cuts into each pepper. The cuts should be fairly deep, stopping about 2-2.5 cm (1 inch) short of the stem. Then use the tip of a knife to carefully separate the pepper along the cuts into petal-like sections. To make them open up, submerge the peppers in cold water.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7

They'll take about 2 hours to open, but you can speed it up by putting the containers of water and peppers in the fridge.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8

Remove the seeds from each opened pepper cup.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9

Fill the pepper flowers with the salad and garnish with fresh herbs.
