  • Boil the small quail eggs. Halve the cherry tomatoes and scoop the soft insides out of each half with a small spoon (a coffee spoon works well). Now thread one egg and one cherry-tomato half onto a skewer. Dot the tomato with mayonnaise or cheese so it looks more like the cap of a fly-agaric mushroom.
