So, we start by taking the buds of red or pink roses, thoroughly wash them and remove the petals from them. Now finely chop the petals, mix with 0.5 kilograms of granulated sugar, put it in a container and leave it for two days. After this time, you can start preparing the syrup. To do this, we mix the water, the remaining sugar, the juice of half a lemon and cook the mass over medium heat until the granulated sugar completely dissolves. When our syrup is ready, we put the candied rose petals in it and cook on very low heat until fully cooked. After that, we cool the mass a little, lay it out in sterilized jars and close the lids.
