Strawberry and Wild Strawberry Jam

A wonderfully tasty jam for tea, made from two favorite berries! Going through my preserving recipes before each berry season, I noticed I already had a recipe for garden strawberry jam, and, written down separately, one for wild strawberry jam — but no "duet" of the two. So I decided to try combining both berries in a single jam. Wild strawberries have a uniquely rich aroma, while garden strawberries are larger and easier to pick. Both are wonderful, each in its own way. This summer I made a jam from both and named it "Duet." Give it a try — you just might love it, too.
