So, the apples are well washed, even if they have just been plucked from the top of the apple tree at your dacha. As for me, I prefer to use only selected ingredients in all culinary recipes. Because of this, all the food turns out much tastier.
Cut the pure fruits into 8 slices, cut out the core with the bones. Then we put it in a saucepan, pour cold water and put it on the stove over medium heat. Immediately add a little sugar (this is for better extraction). We wait for the compote to boil, add the remaining granulated sugar, mix and immediately remove from the heat. Remember, the longer you boil the compote, the less vitamins there are left!
Be sure to let the compote brew for about 30 minutes. Then pour into mugs and serve chilled!
Specially for the child, I filter the compote through a sieve, because he loves "sweet apple water".
