Milk Kissel with Vanilla
An unusual little recipe well worth a try! I hope my milk kissel recipe comes through clearly — I did my best to show it off at its finest. This is a rather exotic, out-of-the-ordinary treat. It may not be for everyone, but it's worth trying at least out of curiosity. (Kissel is a soft, pudding-like dessert thickened with starch.)

Cooking method
- When I first mentioned that I love milk kissel, my friends gave me a puzzled look — they'd never even heard of it, and it was a real discovery for them. But it's genuinely delicious, and I really encourage you to make it my way and see for yourself. It's also a pretty wholesome dish. So here's how it goes. Take 3 cups of milk and bring them to a boil. Dissolve the sugar in the hot milk. In the remaining 1 cup of milk, stir the starch until smooth, then pour it into the pot. Turn down the heat and cook, stirring, for just under 5 minutes. That's essentially it — add a little vanilla for flavor and you're done! Invite your friends over so they, too, can learn that it's not only milkshakes that are delicious: milk kissel earns its place on the table. Because it's tasty, wholesome, and comes together quickly and easily.
