Step 1:
Soak the bread in the milk.

Step 2:
Fillet the herring, removing the bones, and peel the apple. Put the fish, apple, onion, hard-boiled eggs, and the milk-soaked bread (squeezed out) into a blender (or use a meat grinder) and grind everything finely.

Step 3:
Blend the fresh herbs separately.

Step 4:
Add the herbs to the ground mixture along with the softened butter, pepper, and salt to taste. Stir well and chill in the fridge for an hour. Enjoy!
