White icing sugar for baking with lemon juice

A simple recipe for white glaze. Delicious and fast! For every New Year, I invariably cook such food as cookies in icing sugar for the youngest guests. After all, children like everything bright, attractive sweet so much. And if the cookies can be shortbread, sponge cake, oatmeal or any other, and their recipes are not so difficult to find. Then things are different with regard to icing sugar. I had to work hard to find a suitable way for me to cook it, and now I will share it with you.

How to Make Icing:

We begin by thoroughly mixing the powdered sugar and lemon juice prepared in advance. Now put our mixture on a small fire and cook the glaze until smooth for about 5-7 minutes. When the glaze is ready, you can, if desired, add food dyes of various colors to it (you can do without it). Since the icing freezes very quickly, we dip our cookies with it while it is still warm. Then carefully fold the cookies onto a platter and let it dry. When this happens, the cookies can be served to the table.
