Eggnog eggnog and sugar

Cook eggnog - the forgotten taste of childhood! A very delicious cocktail! . As a child, we all loved this simple dessert very much. Grandma always cooked it for us and I associate this drink with those warm and kind days, as well as grandma's pies, and strawberry jam.

If we talk about this dessert from a scientific point of view, raw yolk is the main component of the delicacy, it is very beneficial for the body and consists of a lot of useful substances. Eggnog has a positive effect on the human body and is even used to treat cough and sore throat.

When preparing this treat, it is worth remembering two things: first, the eggs should be the freshest and you should definitely know their origin; second, the eggs for the dish should be at room temperature.

Eggnog is made from egg yolks and sugar. So at the beginning of cooking, separate the yolks from the whites.
Put the whites in the refrigerator and you can use them for an omelet, and put the yolks in a deep bowl.
Add sugar to the yolks and whisk. For this purpose, you can use a mixer, a whisk or even just a fork.
Beat the yolks to a homogeneous fluffy mass - it can take up to 20 minutes. The yolks should change color, increase in volume, and the sugar should completely dissolve.
Serve eggnog immediately after cooking, optionally adding vanilla, cinnamon or berries.

Bon appetit!
