Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients according to the list. Tomatoes for such a dish need dense and fleshy, so that when frying they do not turn into tomato puree. You can fry tomatoes with garlic not only in vegetable oil, but also as a more useful option – on olive oil, and on cream – it will turn out more fragrant, but also calorific.
Step 2:
Tomatoes are washed, let the water drain or dry with paper towels. Cut the tomatoes into circles about one centimeter thick. Pour vegetable oil into the pan. We warm it up well, spread tomato slices on the heated oil. Turn down the heat to medium, fry the tomatoes on one side for about two minutes without covering the pan with a lid, otherwise the tomatoes will let the juice and tomato paste will turn out.
Step 3:
While the tomatoes are frying, cook the garlic. Garlic cloves are cleaned from the films and cut them into thin plates, slices. Garlic will give this dish an appetizing aroma and a piquant taste.
Step 4:
Circles of tomatoes gently turn over with a spatula in a frying pan. They should be slightly browned on both sides.
Step 5:
Add the cooked garlic, salt and ground black pepper to taste. We keep the vegetables on the fire for another 3-4 minutes, for a couple of minutes you can cover the pan with a lid so that the garlic will let the juice and make the oil more fragrant.
Step 6:
But we don't keep the lid on the pan for a long time so that the tomatoes don't start to "spread out". Carefully shift the tomatoes with garlic in the pan so that the tomatoes absorb the fragrant oil. Turn off the fire.
Step 7:
Remove tomatoes with garlic from the pan, put on a plate, sprinkle the dish with finely chopped fresh herbs on top. If desired, this dish can be served with any sauce to taste or mayonnaise, meat supplement and fresh bread. This dish is delicious both hot and cold, but, of course, tomatoes with garlic are more fragrant when they are warm. Enjoy your meal!
