- Beat the eggs with the sugar using a mixer. Add the sifted flour along with the baking soda slaked in the vinegar, and beat again. The batter should have the consistency of pancake batter. 2. Wash the apples and cut them into slices. 3. Stir the apples into the batter. Add a little vanilla or cinnamon if you like. 4. Heat the skillet well, grease it with vegetable oil, and pour in the apple batter. 5. Fry over low heat for 30–40 minutes, until a golden crust forms. When the house fills with the wonderful smell of apples, the cake is ready!
