- Boil the rice until half-cooked. Drain off the water.
- Finely chop the bacon. Peel and finely mince the ginger and garlic. Peel the onion and cut it into small dice.
- Beat the eggs lightly with a fork.
- Heat the peanut oil in a skillet and pour in the beaten eggs. Cook, stirring, for 1 to 2 minutes, then transfer the eggs to a plate.
- In the same skillet, add the onion, garlic, and ginger, along with the salt and sugar. Add the chili, sliced into rings, if you like. Stir, and cook until the onion turns golden.
- Add the bacon and the eggs back to the skillet. Pour in the soy sauce. Stir and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the cooked rice and stir to combine.
- Finely chop the leek and add it to the rice.
- Pour in the wine. Mix everything well and cook, stirring constantly, for 3 to 4 minutes.
