Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the specified ingredients. Such cookies used to be prepared only with margarine, but it can be replaced with butter (I have never cooked with butter). Take margarine from a trusted manufacturer. Cut the margarine into cubes and pre-melt it in a water bath, leave it on the table to cool. Eggs of the CO category. I got 160 grams of flour - 1.5 cups, it may take a little more.
Step 2:
Wash chicken eggs with cold water, dry. Break the eggs one by one into a deep bowl, add sugar and stir until the ingredients are combined.
Step 3:
Pour the cooled melted margarine into the eggs and mix.
Step 4:
Pour flour, soda slaked with vinegar and knead a homogeneous thick dough. In consistency, it should be slightly thicker than the dough for pancakes. This dough should be convenient to put with a spoon.
Step 5:
Put the cookie mold on the fire and let it completely warm up. With a ladle, place the dough in the middle of one half of the mold and close the other half without pressing. Put on the fire and fry first on one side until golden brown.
Step 6:
Then turn the mold on the other side and fry on the other side. When the mold warms up very well, it will be enough for less than a minute on each side. Make the fire a little less than average, so that your form does not burn and smoke because of the leaking fat and dough. In total, I managed to make six runs with this amount of test.
Step 7:
Put the finished cookies immediately on a plate with napkins or a paper towel. While it's hot, you can cut it into separate segments - in my form, these are triangles. The cooled cookies can be transferred to a beautiful dish or a breadcrumb and served to the table.
Such cookies, in this form, were prepared by my grandmother and mother in childhood. This form has been around for many years, but you can still cook a delicious treat in it. I've always really liked these funny pictures - prints on the form. I don't have a recipe for this cookie before, but I know for sure that it was always cooked on margarine.
The cookie I made cookies from reminds me a lot of cookies from my childhood. My family really liked it. But it seems to me that it used to be a little different, probably my family cooked it after all according to a different recipe.
Be prepared for the fact that flour may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. Read a lot of useful information about flour and its properties in this article!
