Step-by-step cooking
Cut each tomato up to the peduncle, highlighting four parts.
We cut the cheese into thin pieces, adjusting them to the "petals", round off the edges.
We insert cheese "petals" into the incised parts of the tomato.
In the center of the tomato we make 4 more incisions between the large "petals", we also insert cheese into them.
Cut into thin slices of ham (balyk, sausage), then cut it into strips. These will be stamens.
In the center of the tomato, we pierce the holes with a knife and insert the "stamens" into them. Between them is a "pistil" of cucumber.
We also cut out leaves from cucumber.
The resulting flowers are laid out on a dish, sprinkled with salt, lemon pepper. We spread cucumber leaves around, and "buds" of tomato peel between them.
