Skewer Appetizers

A wonderful appetizer that won't let your guests get bored. I really love that you can make a snack like this very quickly from almost any ingredients — all you need is a bit of imagination and good taste, plus the ingredients themselves. And appetizers on skewers are an ideal format if you've decided to put on something like a buffet. A long time ago, I read about how to host a buffet — it's a kind of way to entertain guests. And at the buffet, instead of traditional appetizers, the idea was to serve appetizers on skewers and in tartlets, along with mini sandwiches. Here are my skewer appetizers, recipe with photos, for simplicity and your enjoyment.

  • Simply cut the cheese and bologna sausage (or hot dogs — but don't use the ends) into small cubes, slice the gherkins into medium rounds (skip the ends), and it's best to use stuffed olives, for example with anchovies or almonds. Then just thread everything onto skewers, spaced a little apart: a round of gherkin, a cube of cheese, a cube of sausage (hot dog), an olive. Then simply stick these skewers into a salad, say, or into some meat. It'll look beautiful and your guests will be happy to try them!!!
