Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make pork with zucchini stewed in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Any part can be used as pork. To make the dish juicier, take meat with a small amount of fat. I have a piece of pig's neck.
Step 2:
Heat the frying pan to a hot state and pour a little vegetable oil. Cut the pork into small pieces and put it in a hot frying pan. Fry the meat until golden brown.
Step 3:
Peel the onion from the husk and rinse. Then finely chop the onion.
Step 4:
Add chopped onion to the fried meat, stir and fry everything together for 2-3 minutes. Add a little salt and spices to the pan. As a spice, you can use a ready-made set of spices for meat. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the meat on low heat for 20-25 minutes. If desired, you can add a little water, then the dish will be with meat gravy.
Step 5:
Separately, cut the zucchini into small pieces. If the zucchini has a soft peel, then there is no need to peel it.
Step 6:
When the meat is almost ready, add the sliced zucchini to the pan. Stir and simmer for another 10 minutes all together under the lid. During this time, the zucchini will have time to become soft.
Step 7:
Pork stew with zucchini is ready! Bon appetit!
Which zucchini will work best? Choose young fruits with tender skins. Wash them and peel them. It is not necessary to cut off a very thin skin. If you use more mature zucchini, cut off the rough peel and cut out the middle with the seeds.
In addition to pork, any other meat can be used in this dish. Keep in mind that the cooking time, as well as the taste and calorie content of the dish will change. For example, beef is cooked longer than pork, and chicken fillet or turkey is less.
If you use ready-made spice mixes, be sure to read the composition on the package. Often, salt is already present in such mixtures, take this into account, otherwise you risk over-salting the dish.
