Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make an omelet with ham and cheese in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. the quantity and proportions of the ingredients completely depend on your preferences. You can add more ham with tomatoes or more eggs with cheese.
Step 2:
Cut the ham into small cubes.
Step 3:
Preheat the omelet pan to a hot state and pour a little vegetable oil on it. Put the sliced ham and fry it for a minute on low heat.
Step 4:
Combine eggs with milk in a separate bowl. Add a little salt and spices. Shake everything with a whisk until smooth. When adding salt, keep in mind that the ham is already salty and will give the omelet its own taste.
Step 5:
Add grated cheese to the egg mass. You can use any cheese, as long as it melts well and is easily grated on a grater. Mix the cheese with the eggs.
Step 6:
Wash tomatoes, cut in half and remove the stalk. Cut the tomatoes into cubes and add them to the ham in the pan. Fry the tomatoes with ham for another few minutes to make them softer.
Step 7:
Pour the egg mixture over the ham and tomatoes and cover the pan with a lid. Cook the omelet on low heat for 5-7 minutes. During this time, all the ingredients will have time to bake. The main thing is not to make a big fire so that the omelet does not start to burn.
Step 8:
Remove the finished omelet from the heat and serve it hot. When serving, sprinkle the omelet with chopped herbs. Bon appetit!
Be sure to wash the eggs before use, as even the seemingly clean shell may contain harmful bacteria. It is best to use food detergents and a brush.
Important! An incorrectly selected frying pan can ruin even the best recipe. All the details on how to choose the perfect frying pan for different dishes read here .
You can check whether the oil has warmed up well enough in the pan in a simple way. Lower a wooden spatula into it. If bubbles have gathered around it, then you can start the frying process.
