Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make cutlets according to GOST? Prepare the ingredients according to the list. Put the white bread or loaf in a bowl. Fill it with water so that it swells. You can pre-dry bread or a loaf in the oven and grind it into crumbs, the standards provide for both of these options.
Step 2:
Add minced meat, prepared independently or purchased ready from a trusted manufacturer, salt and ground black pepper to a bowl of bread, mix the mass.
Step 3:
Stir the minced meat for the cutlets for quite a long time, because this affects the density and quality of the finished cutlets, which is provided for in the requirements. According to GOST, onions are not included in the cutlets, because it is believed that dishes with onions spoil faster, but if you think cutlets without onions are tasteless, then you can add an onion.
Step 4:
With your hands soaked in cold water, form cutlets, by weight: 50, 75 or 100 grams. Breading the cutlets in flour or breadcrumbs from all sides.
Step 5:
Pour vegetable oil into the pan. Warm it up. Fry the cutlets over medium heat for about 10 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
Step 6:
Then, if the pan has a removable handle (if not, transfer the cutlets to a greased baking sheet), send it with the cutlets to the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for another 20 minutes. The cutlets according to GOST are ready. Of course, the cutlets will turn out much tastier than such a dish from the dining room. Serve the cutlets to the table, optionally with a side dish or fresh vegetables and herbs. Bon appetit!
