Cooking method
Everyone who has ever cooked fish knows that the most difficult thing in this action is cleaning. In the case of steaks, this stage is skipped, since steaks are usually sold ready-made. If not, then the fish needs to be cleaned and cut into steaks.
Next, wash the steaks and dry them well, blotting excess moisture with paper towels. The steaks prepared in this way are transferred to a capacious container (all four should fully fit into it). Then sprinkle the fish steaks with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and ground black pepper (freshly ground). We mix everything thoroughly with our hands so that the fish is covered with oil, and the spices are evenly distributed over it.
Preheat the grill. When it warms up, lubricate the grill with a small amount of olive oil. This will make it easier to remove steaks from the grill, without leaving half of the fish on the grill in the process.
Place the steaks on the grill. Fry the steaks for 2-3 minutes, then turn clockwise by 90 degrees. Such a clever technique will allow you to get more beautiful lattice prints on steaks than just stripes. This action is optional, of course.
Cook the fish for another 2 minutes, then turn the steaks over and fry on the other side for another 2-3 minutes. Turn 90 degrees again and cook the salmon for another 1-2 minutes.
That's it, the steaks are ready! Carefully remove the steaks with a spatula, trying not to damage them. We transfer the fish to a large plate.
It remains only to serve beautifully, adding delicious and fragrant steaks with any side dish, fresh herbs, fresh vegetables. We also do not forget about the delicious sauce suitable for fried fish.
