Slow Cooker Pollock with Onions

Tasty fish for dinner? Make pollock quickly and easily in your slow cooker! A slow cooker is a lifesaver when you don't have time to fuss over dinner at the stove — and I bet I'm not the only one. :) I love simple recipes like this: just cut up the fish and lightly sauté the vegetables, and the machine does the rest. Then all that's left is to put a fragrant, delicious dinner on the table!

    1. Cut the cleaned pollock into pieces. 2. Wash and peel the carrot, then grate it on the coarse side of a box grater. Peel the onion, rinse it, and cut it into half-moons. 3. Set the machine to "Sauté" (or "Bake" if it doesn't have a sauté setting). Pour the sunflower oil into the pot, add the onion and carrot, and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring now and then. 4. Lay the pollock pieces over the sautéed vegetables and pour in the water. 5. Season with salt and pepper. 6. Coat each piece of pollock generously with sour cream. 7. Close the lid, select the "Bake" setting, and set the timer for 25 minutes. Your tasty fish is ready — serve it hot. Enjoy!
