Herring appetizer with cream cheese

Cooking method
1. Peel the herring, gut it, cut it into fillets.
2. Cut the onion into half rings, marinate in lemon juice. Pepper and add sugar. Leave for 10 minutes.
3. Make incisions on each fillet from the ridge side, opening it like a book.
4. Then grease the fillet with cream cheese. Drain the marinade from the onion, dry it and put it on top of the cheese.
5. Cucumbers cut into strips, put on the onion. Sprinkle chopped dill on top.
6. Roll the herring into a roll and put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. Mix the oil with mustard. Then take out the roll, cut and serve on slices of black bread, sprinkled with butter.
